Im new to the world of programming and registry hacks so I'm not sure if this will sound impossible. But i don't have a data plan through att so I've been looking and researching and came across this SMS Bubbles program. This program works by your phone recieving text and automatically displaying them on the screen with out having to navigate to your message box. Is there anyway to tweak this SMS Bubbles to work the same way with your e-mail, I am pretty sure that the desktops allows you to see that you have an e-mail waiting without internet communication my guess is the same way that you can send/recieve e-mails through your texts. That would be a cool little loop hole if possible.

however, you'd have to configure a mail process to strip every mail header other than the To/From/Subject/Date lines, and convert the message body to plaintext only.
Just the headers alone would likely meet the 160 character limit of SMS, let alone the content of any mail message.
If you use Facebook Mobile, it will forward Facebook mail messages to you via SMS, but cuts them into 160-byte segments and you have to hit reply to download the next piece, etc.
Keep in mind as well that without a data plan of any sort, you'll pay $0.15 to $0.20 PER MESSAGE you receive (whether you read it or not).
