Tested on my BJ2:

HKCU/ControllPanel/KeypadBacklight/Timeout

I changed it from 15 to 5 and after rebooting my phone, my keypad lights go off after 5 seconds now instead of 15. I imagine you could increase it to a longer delay at the expense of battery power.
