Hi folks,
I just got my BJ2 yesterday. I want to throw some apps like google maps, opera and other junk on it. I downloaded it and put it into my sync folder, it says it synced but i cant find the installers on my device. What am i doing wrong and how i do this? Thank you.
If you sync the CAB file onto your BJ2, it's probably ended up in the "My Documents" folder on your phone. However, the default setting on the BJ2 is to NOT show CAB files.
Try going into the Start Menu, look for an icon folder called "Applications", and open the icon called "File Explorer." It should immediately place you inside your "My Documents" folder and should show you the CAB files. Just scroll down to which one you want to install, select it with the scroll wheel button, and it should launch the installer.
Another thing to try: If it's easy to navigate to the web site where the apps are downloaded directly on your mobile browser, downloading the CAB files directly on the phone will usually launch the installer.

awesome, thanks! Sure stinks that Firefox isnt mobile. I tried to get the fennec alpha release but i dont think BJ2s can use it, that or i did it wrong.
