Okay, let's all say it in unison: "Internet Explorer sucks on the desktop, so why on earth would you use it on a mobile device?"
In my experience though, IE Mobile is still really decent for rendering.
It still annoying that while you can reset your default browser in Windows Mobile 6 (WM6) to, say, Opera, some programs are still hard-coded to call "iexplore.exe" to launch a browser (like i-nigma). So there's no getting around it.
Still, I wish Firefox would hurry up with their mobile version. I digress.
Opera Mobile kicks some serious mobile browser butt. It's fast, it's easy to navigate, does everything you want it to do. The only beef I have is the download page that displays when you download something. You can use the scroll wheel to scroll up/down the list, but clicking the middle 'select' button doesn't do anything, you have to select the 'Menu' link, and select 'Open' or whatever other operation you want to choose, on the file. The scrollwheel button should default its action to 'open'. Also, you must select Menu->Cancel to return to the browser -- hitting the 'back' button will take you back to your home screen.
Still, I'm happy that even a $24-$29 license (tied to the IMEI of your phone) was worth the money to have a new default browsing engine on the phone.
