My GPS worked out of the box, as well as after a hard-reset.

However, some software out there (MS Live Search, for example), doesn't detect the built-in GPS, so the guys at Modaco.com found/wrote a program that you install on the BJ2 that will mirror the GPS unit to COM4 at 19200 baud.

This software works great when a program can't detect/use a built-in GPS receiver or requires a COM port.
